EA FC 25: Leaks and What We Know

19. May 2024 by Valentin Pasetti

The next installment of the EA Sports football franchise is titled EA FC 25, and here’s what we know from the leaks so far.

Release Date for EA FC 25

As of now, there’s no official release date for EA FC 25, but it’s likely to arrive towards the end of September. Based on the release pattern of EA FC 24, which launched on September 29, 2023, we anticipate a release date of Friday, September 27, 2024, with an early access period starting the week prior.

This aligns with a leak from “FUTZONEFIFA,” suggesting a September release, as well as EA’s own financial report confirming a launch in the second quarter, placing it between July 1 and October 1.

However, nothing is confirmed yet, and these are all speculative, so the developers could decide to bring the release forward or delay it until October.

Platforms for EA FC 25

EA FC 25 will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC upon release, as each new installment always debuts on the latest platforms. Historically, there’s also been a release for PS4 and Xbox One, allowing players on last-gen consoles to join in. But we’ll have to wait for an official announcement to know for certain.

Previous entries in the series, including EA FC 24, have also arrived on Nintendo Switch as the ‘Legacy Edition,’ which costs less but lacks some of the newer features. That said, the response to the Switch port has been quite negative, so it’s unclear if they will attempt it again with EA FC 25.

Expected Modes in EA FC 25

Although EA Sports FC 25 hasn’t been unveiled yet, it’s expected to include all the core modes that have become staples of the series, such as:

  • Kick-Off
  • Ultimate Team
  • Career Mode
  • Volta
  • Pro Clubs
  • Online Seasons

Of course, developers might introduce a new mode this time to keep things fresh, while there will undoubtedly be plenty of additions to make existing modes feel new.

Leaks About EA FC 25

While details about EA FC 25 are scarce, leaks are beginning to emerge about what the new game might entail. The most significant leak so far is from SportsGamersOnline, stating that a major AI overhaul is in the works that could enhance CPU behavior across all modes.

Reportedly, this will make opposing teams and your teammates smarter in reacting to gameplay. They’ll make more effective runs, respond to the ball more realistically, and be less likely to leave gaping holes.

And that’s all we know about EA FC 25 and its leaks for now. We’ll update this article as more information surfaces, so be sure to bookmark and check back regularly.
