Following Wildcard Gaming’s elimination with a 1-2 defeat at the hands of M80, Warden allegedly splashed water at M80 players from a water bottle. This action, deemed unsportsmanlike, occurred after Warden refused to shake hands with the opposing team.

Repercussions

Upon receiving reports of the incident, PGL officials conducted an investigation and subsequently banned Warden from the RMR venue for his actions. Despite issuing an apology to M80 and Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa, Warden’s ban stands, impacting Wildcard Gaming’s future participation in the event.

Team’s Response

Although Wildcard Gaming has been eliminated from the tournament, the team still has access to the venue and practice facilities. However, with Warden barred from entry, the team will need to proceed with boot camp preparations without their coach.
