VALORANT: The best players in the world of Agent Jett

27. July 2023 by miranda angeles

Riot Games’ shooter, now three years since its release, and the scene has been growing, both in and out of the game. Over time the game developers have included some agents that have come to revolutionize the meta of the game. However, there is an agent that has stood out since the launch of the game; it is Jett. That is why today we will talk about the best players in the world who use Agent Jeff in their battles.

Jett, an agent of reference in VALORANT

While it is true that there was a time when Jett was less known, that was due to the power of a different agent like Chamber. An agent who could do many things that made Jett strong and who has an Operator as the ultimate. However, the champion bounced back and is still one of the duelists’ favorite and most-played agents in VALORANT today.

Let’s talk about the best players in the world who use Agent Jett in their Duels.

Aspas of LOUD

Erick “aspas” Santos, the Brazilian player, is considered one of the best Jetts in the world. But that’s not all, aspas is also considered one of the best duelists in the game today. His most notable achievements last year include winning the World Championship with LOUD and taking second place in the VCT LOCK//IN.

Aspas has played 28 times with Jett, 5 with Neon, and only 2 with Raze over the past three months. Although Aspas can play with other Duelists, he is one of those characters that has been “pigeonholed” into Jett due to the character’s power and the tyranny that the Operator allows him to inflict.

Derke of Fnatic

Right now, we turn our attention to EMEA with Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev, one of the best Jett players in the world. Derke has stood out among the best athletes in Europe and worldwide. Although Derke may play more frequently alongside other Duelists, the Finnish Fnatic player is one of the best Jett players in VALORANT.

Demon1 of Evil Geniuses

Max “Demon1” Mazanov, player of the Americas league, has been one of the season’s big surprises. Despite having little experience in the local league when he came to EG, he quickly picked up the slack. Not only was he able to travel to the VCT Masters in Tokyo along with a group of veteran players like Ethan and another Duelist named Jawgemo, but he was also able to close out his participation in the upcoming VALORANT World Championship. Without a doubt, Demon1 is a dynamic player that fans love to see in action, so by having Jett, he can get the edge on the others.

ZmjjKK of Edward Gaming

Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang is not far behind Demon1 as one of the season’s biggest surprises in VALORANT. ZmjjKK is the best player in China and one of the best in Asia. His talent makes him stand out, which is unexpected, considering he comes from a place where he doesn’t have many competitors. It may surprise some that the EDG team appears ahead of other well-known teams on this list, as it does not compete in the Asian franchise league.

However, everyone saw ZmjjKK in action at the last VCT Masters in Tokyo. While we do not claim that he was solely responsible for EDG’s extraordinary success, he has a large part in that success. He is a different Asian Jett than we are used to, and he works well with the Operator.
