Pierre “Turbopolsa” Silfver has been an outstanding athlete in Rocket League Esports, inspiring thousands of young people to follow in his footsteps. Now he says goodbye to the competitive scene, and during the RLCS Winter Major, Turbopolsa announces his retirement.

About Turbopolsa

In 2015, at the age of seventeen, Turbopolsa began his career in the world of Rocket League competition. The young player was one of the competitors who participated in the first season of RLCS for Mock-It eSports EU, held in the European region.

Then in 2017, Turbopolsa decided to join the Northern Gaming team as a substitute. However, in a short time of belonging to the team, the young player had to replace Nicolai “Maestro” Bang and become a starting player. Initially, it was not easy; the team was relegated to the bottom of the playoffs; however, the team persevered and managed to win the last game of the championship. The year 2017 was the first world championship win for Turbopolsa.

After that victory in 2017, Turbopolsa decided to take a step in another direction and joined the Gale Force eSports squad. The new Turbopolsa team had great athletes, and the squad took the RLCS World Championship in its fourth season. This was Turbopolsa’s second victory in a world championship.

The Gale Force eSports squad consisted of Turbopolsa, ViolentPanda, and Kaydop, who made a dynamic mix and continued to dominate the RLCS competitive scene after capturing their first championship together.

However, the team underwent some changes as Dignitas acquired it, and at some point, the team seemed not to be in its best shape. But they overcame everything and won the fifth season of the world championship. This meant the third championship for Turbopolsa, an incredible record, and they won their second and third championships in a row.

Turbopolsa’s career changes

Turbopolsa, after living some incredible seasons in the European region, the player decides to join the NRG team in North America. Once again, Turbopolsa made a great team with his teammates Justin “jstn” Morales and Garrett “GarrettG” Gordon, both athletes with a great history of success in esports.

Turbopolsa and his new team won his fourth championship, achieving a record never seen before in the Rocket League competitive scene.

Later, the four-time champion changed teams again, joining Team Envy, which changed its name to OpTic Gaming.

Recently, Turbopolsa announced his retirement after a successful career. Although the player is retiring from the competitive scene, he announced it would not be the last time we will see him.
