TSM want to be a force in CSGO again

Five years after leaving the CS scene, with its famous Danish roster, TSM is expected to return to the European qualifying championships after the IEM in Cologne.

Bad news for TSM fans, the North American organization. The structure announced to postpone its return to the CS:GO esport scene to the second half of 2023. In an official message revealed on the club’s discord account, Team SoloMid explains its decision:

Due to the early start of the Major qualification, we will not be able to qualify for the BLAST World Championships. The period between IEM Katowice 2023 and IEM Cologne 2023 will be the re-shuffle period. This is when TSM will have the opportunity to act.

The structure had left the CS esport scene in 2017 but before announced at the end of last year that it wanted to get back into the game from 2023. It was due in particular a very good 2015 season with several trophies, including a final against NaVi at the IEM X in San Jose, with a legendary Danish roster that has since continued to set fire to the CS:GO scene, as karrigan, device or dupreeh.

The next Major, the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, will start with qualifications in the spring and teams already have a presence as a main goal. The IEM Katowice is scheduled for the end of the month while the IEM Cologne will be played in August. TSM should therefore arrive in the second part of 2023. And this time within the European region and not NA.
