The Dota 2 community is shocked by the news of the passing of the beloved Chinese commentator Mi “Yammers” Hongwei. The young commentator took his own life after struggling for a long time with mental health issues.
Through a Weibo post, Yammers has decided to take his own life publicly. Yammers had scheduled a post for May 29 to report his passing.
The young commentator in his post reveals the reasons that led him to decide to attempt his life. Yammers published a short description of his life and then commented that for a long time, he had to struggle with depression; in addition, he assured that since his father died in 2019, his mental health problems have worsened.
