The arrival of patch 14.5 in Teamfight Tactics heralds a wave of changes designed to shake up the game and make it even more enjoyable. Let’s delve into the exciting adjustments introduced in this patch.
System Changes in Patch 14.5
- Uniform Loot Distribution: All players now receive the same quality of loot and the same number of orbs simultaneously, regardless of their contents.
- Progressive Orb Content: The contents of orbs evolve as the game progresses, ensuring a dynamic experience.
- Orb Rebalancing: Orbs have been rebalanced to align with their respective levels.
- Introduction of Prismatic Orb: The most powerful orb added, featuring a consumable called the Master Crafter’s Upgrade, which, when used on a unit, unlocks a forge containing Radiant versions of the unit’s complete craftable items. Upgrade your chosen item to its Radiant equivalent and unequip it.
Examples of Orb Loot Content
- Gray Orbs: Early-game loot may include 2 gold and an item cleaner, or a mid to late-game 3-cost champion.
- Blue Orbs: Late-game loot might consist of two 3-cost champions or an item cleaner and 8 gold.
- Golden Orbs: Early-game loot may include a Spatula, 4 gold, and an item cleaner, or a 5-cost champion and 13 gold in the late game.
- Prismatic Orbs: Early-game loot may include a major Champion doubler and 12 gold, or a Trait Tome + 5 gold in the late game, or our new Master Crafter’s Upgrade and 5 gold in the late game.
Portal Updates
- Crab Rave Music: The Crab Party portal now features its own music, namely “Crab Rave.”
- Content Creator Note: Monstercat will not issue copyright strikes on your channel(s) for using “Crab Rave.” However, if you use “Crab Rave” without a Monstercat Gold subscription, you will receive a notification. This won’t affect your channel, but it means that the advertising revenue from your video will go to the record label and the artist involved in the song.
