PUBG, StarCraft 2, Dota 2, LoL, CS:GO, here are the biggest winnings of the year 2022 on the esport scene, with Tundra Esports leading the way.
Depending on the esport scene in question, the winnings are more or less big every year in tournaments. Thanks to the statistics compiled by liquipedia, we can actually find out which teams earned the most money during the 2022 season, whether it was on League of Legends, CS:GO, VALORANT or even Dota 2.
We’ve gone through the major leagues, and Tundra Esports is the big winner this year, with nearly $8.9 million earned on Dota 2 thanks to 2 top 1s, 2 top 2s and 4 top 3-4s. It’s no surprise that the structure won the International 2022, the highest paid tournament in esports history, with 8.5 million dollars. On the CS:GO side, FaZe Clan, the team that spent most of the year in the lead, won the most with $1.8 million ahead of G2 Esports.
The German structure is also well placed on the LoL scene with a 9th place and 214,000 dollars. Despite its second place at the Worlds, T1 was the biggest winner in 2022, thanks to several top 2s during the year.
