The Esports organization Twisted Minds from Saudi Arabia has founded a fresh CS:GO team and wants to secure a slot at the upcoming BLAST.tv Paris Major. For this, the orga has directly brought several well-known names into the lineup. Twisted Minds is led by the streamer duo consisting of Shuaib “D0cC” Ahmad and Nikola “Lobanjica” Mijomanovic.

Their mix team “POGGERZ” has now been acquired by Twisted Minds. Moustafa “BLACKEAGLE” Baghdadi, Kais “KD69z” Abduljawad and Ahmad “SpAwNns” Kanaan round out the team’s roster.

Saudi Arabia’s big hope?

Well-known Counter-Strike:Global Offensive streamers D0cC and Lobanjica have been announced as players for Saudi organization Twisted Minds. These two are joined by Egyptians BLACKEAGLE, KD69z and SpAwNns. The quintet made it to the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: Middle Eastern RMR Open Qualifier in the top 4 and earned a spot in the region’s Closed Qualifier, where they will be one of eight teams competing for a spot in the RMR.

Here in the video is a sneak peek of the new team from Twisted Minds, where they will play against the Astralis trio of Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth and Christian Møss “Buzz” Andersen, as well as Rasmus “Zyphon” Nordfoss from Sprout and Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi from Fnatic in a FACEIT match.

Two streamers return

D0cC is one of the most popular CS:GO content creators in the world. The 22-year-old streams regularly on Twitch and has a YouTube account where he posts videos regularly. The streamer also has a brief stint as a professional player when he competed for cats and Defusekids in 2019 and 2020. His career as a content creator and competitive gamer has made him a star. He was able to help his then-team Defusekids win the ESL Dutch Championship Winter in 2019, but he hasn’t competed since 2020. The player is known for his streams where he shows his POV in FACEIT games.

Lobanjica is more experienced compared to his mate D0cC and has now returned to competition at the age of 33 after playing on a trial basis with Team The Imperial in July 2019, although he was only there for four days. The Montenegrin is one of the best-known streamers in the FACEIT Pro League and has won several seasons of it. Twisted Minds is still in the running for a spot at the Paris Major later this year. After the team qualified in the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: Middle Eastern RMR Open Qualifier they were able to secure second place behind Divine Vendetta. Quite an awesome feat, lets see how far they go
