As the most anticipated championship in Counter-Strike draws near, the Argentine organization fails to secure its qualification. This Saturday, BESTIA succumbed to a 2-0 defeat against Wildcard in the RMR Americas encounter. Having previously fallen to Team Liquid in the opening round, the Argentine team now exits the Copenhagen Major qualifiers.

Anticipation Builds for the Major
In the days leading up to the Major, the Valve shooter community is abuzz with excitement as one of the year’s biggest events approaches. With two editions slated for 2024, the first Major is just around the corner.
The Copenhagen Major is set to take place from March 17th to 31st, welcoming the world’s top 24 teams. Qualifying tournaments are currently underway, with a list of confirmed participants available for viewing.
BESTIA’s Journey in the RMR Americas
During Friday’s session, the RMR Americas kicked off with BESTIA being the sole Argentine representative in the competition. As previously mentioned, Rocket’s withdrawal led to a change in matchups, pitting BESTIA against Team Liquid.

Despite Team Liquid’s favored status, BESTIA’s lineup comprising Noktse, deco, meyern, tomaszin, and luchov showcased exceptional performance from start to finish. Nevertheless, they ultimately succumbed to a 13-11 defeat, placing them in a precarious position within the RMR. Subsequently, BESTIA faced Wildcard, who had suffered a 13-1 loss against RED Canids.
An End to BESTIA’s Journey
Regrettably, the Argentine squad failed to replicate their performance against Liquid, resulting in a 2-0 victory for Wildcard with scores of 13-9 on Mirage and 13-4 on Anubis. Consequently, BESTIA bids farewell to the RMR Americas, effectively extinguishing their hopes of qualifying for the Copenhagen Major.
