On May 19th, 2024, Pokémon GO trainers will celebrate Community Day with Bounsweet as the star of the event. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, get ready for an exciting day filled with encounters, bonuses, and special evolutions.
Community Day Details
Date and Time:
- May Community Day will take place on Sunday, May 19th, 2024.
- The event hours are from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Featured Pokémon:
- Bounsweet will appear more frequently in the wild during the event.
- Shiny Bounsweet will also have increased chances of appearing.
Special Evolution:
- Evolve Bounsweet into Tsareena during the event to obtain the exclusive Charged Attack, Pat. Salto Alta.
Pat. Salto Alta
- In Trainer Battles: Deals 110 damage and has a chance to significantly reduce the opponent’s defense.
- In Gyms and Raids: Deals 90 damage.
Event Bonuses
During the May Community Day event, enjoy the following bonuses:
- Double Candy: Earn double the amount of Candy for capturing Pokémon.
- Egg Hatching Distance: Eggs placed in incubators will require only a quarter of the usual distance to hatch.
- Increased XL Candy Chance: Trainers at level 31 and higher have double the chance of receiving XL Candy from captured Pokémon.
- Extended Lure Modules: Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Extended Incense: Incense (excluding the Daily Free Incense) activated during the event will also last for three hours.
Additional Event Features
- Take snapshots during Community Day for surprise encounters.
- Special trades are available, with up to two additional trades allowed per day at a 50% reduction in Stardust cost.

Engage in exciting 4-star raids featuring Steenee during the event. Defeating Steenee in a raid will cause more Bounsweet to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. Keep an eye out for that elusive shiny encounter!
