Awaiting the official announcement by Riot Games, Spanish organisation MAD Lions has presented its roster for 2023. As expected, we find our compatriot, Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer at midlane.

It has been in the pipeline for many weeks, we even talked about it in our report on the LEC transfer window. But the news has finally been officially announced. MAD Lions has hired Belgian midlaner Nisqy for the 2023 season.

The organisation took the opportunity to introduce the entire future team in an epic video.

In 2022, MAD Lions struggled in the Spring Split, so it had no choice but to hire new players. Belgian midlaner Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer was brought in to strengthen the team after being benched at Fnatic.

It was the ideal opportunity for our compatriot to get back in the saddle. He played a key role in MAD Lions’ qualification for the Worlds. For that performance, our local was rewarded with an MVP title.

So next season, Nisqy will get a chance to team up with Spanish jungler “Elyoya”. That duo will undoubtedly play well together. Incidentally, the organisation did all it could to keep its star player in the jungle, as G2 Esports was lurking.

Furthermore, MAD will start the season with experienced Czech ADC Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság. Bulgarian support Zdravets “Hyllisang” Iliev Galabov will also join the Lions’ ranks. Finally, the organisation is relying on a player who has performed well with X7 in the EUM: Korean Kim “Chasy” Dong-hyeon.

The 2023 roster will thus look as follows:

  • Kim ” Chasy ” Dong-hyeon
  • Javier “Elyoya” Prades Batalla
  • Yasin ” Nisqy ” Dinçer
  • Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság
  • Zdravets “Hyllisang” Iliev Galabov

So MAD Lions will start next season with a new but ultra-competitive roster. Let’s hope the players will manage to create a good team spirit.
