Electronic Arts have finally revealed the new branding for the iconic football simulation game. EA Sports FC will officially replace FIFA.
The famous expression “Let’s play some Fifas” will no longer be used in a few months. Instead, if fans want to refer to the EA Sports football simulator, they must call it EA Sports FC.
Electronic Arts have officially presented the new brand of its title after the separation from the international football federation (FIFA), which gave the name to the famous video game.
In July, the title developer will unveil all the details of the new version of the game. Therefore, in a few months, we will be able to know all the details about the content and the changes made as a result of the end of the agreement with the federation.
EA Sports FC, the new version of FIFA

This name change measure is because the agreement between Electronic Arts and the federation has ended. However, the new game version will still have official clubs, leagues, and players’ licenses.

Electronic Arts has included in FIFA 23 the Division 1 Arkema and the Barclays Women’s Super League, both French leagues. However, the developers intend to do more than add new teams.
According to rumors, the next version of the EA Sports FC 24 game will not only include new teams; it will also be possible to form mixed teams. In this way, all users can play in teams with the best female football players, such as Alexia Putellas, who is part of FC Barcelona, and Ada Hergerberg, from Olympique Lyon.
