Gonna Need Milk has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering change within the professional gaming community. The Milk Cup, a series of major female Fortnite tournaments in North America, seeks to provide women with a platform and the opportunity to compete for the largest prize pool ever seen in a female Fortnite tournament in the region.
Bridging the Gender Gap in Esports
The $250,000 prize pool is intended to address the gender pay gap prevalent in esports, offering female gamers a chance to showcase their skills and earn recognition on a competitive stage.
The Milk Cup, developed in collaboration with female players, is designed to meet the specific needs of professional gaming and create a safe space for women to compete at the highest level.
Tournament Details
Registrations for the pre-qualifiers are now open on the official Gonna Need Milk website, with the first tournament scheduled for late May. The Milk Cup will feature trios competition, inviting over 400 female players to participate and extending the opportunity to as many individuals as possible.

The tournament series is produced exclusively by Raidiant’s all-female team, in partnership with Women of the eRena (WOTE), and will be broadcasted live on Twitch. The major events and the Grand Final promise to deliver thrilling gameplay and showcase the talent of female Fortnite players to a global audience.
