Shopify Rebellion has made significant roster changes ahead of the PGL Wallachia tournament by bringing in two formidable players,
Maroun “GH” Merhej and Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan. Both former The International champions will stand in for vacant slots on the team, aiming to make an impact in the upcoming event starting on May 10th, 2024.
SumaiL Steps In for Yopaj Due to VISA Issues
With Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer unable to attend due to VISA complications, SumaiL has been recruited as the replacement midlaner for Shopify Rebellion. Despite currently being part of Nigma Galaxy, SumaiL has been actively standing in for various teams, most recently for Team Falcons in ESL One Birmingham.
This move reunites SumaiL with his former Evil Geniuses teammate, Artour “Arteezy” Babaev, adding more excitement to their collaboration on the battlefield.
GH Returns from Hiatus to Support Shopify Rebellion
Joining SumaiL is GH, the celebrated position four player who took a break from Dota 2 in December 2023 to focus on personal matters. Despite still being affiliated with Nigma Galaxy, GH’s return for PGL Wallachia signifies his comeback to competitive Dota 2 after nearly five months. With only a day to warm up, GH is gearing up to showcase his skills once again.
