The Esports World Cup (EWC) has firmly established itself as the most prestigious esports event in the world. With 25 competitions bringing together the best teams from across the globe in Riyadh, this multi-tournament spectacle attracts the attention of esports organizations that spend the entire year preparing to qualify for this tournament.

$70 Million Prize Pool for the Esports World Cup 2025

In an exciting announcement via social media, EWC organizers revealed that the prize pool for the 2025 edition will be $70 million, marking a $10 million increase from the previous year. This increase justifies the hard work and dedication of all teams striving for qualification, making this one of the largest prize pools in esports history.

How the $70 Million Prize Pool Is Distributed

As is customary with EWC, the $70 million prize pool will not be distributed equally across all competitions. Instead, it will be allocated in the following way:

  • $27 million for the EWC Club Championship

  • $38 million for the prize pools of the 25 individual tournaments

  • $450,000 will be distributed to the MVPs of each tournament

  • $5 million will go toward the qualifiers for the EWC
