Electronic Sports Broadcasting (ESB) and Qatar Esports Federation are set to revolutionize the Dota 2 esports scene. They have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to launch a league with a vision spanning three years, starting in 2024.
This ambitious project includes three major events and a whopping prize pool of $2.6 million, promising to be a significant milestone in esports history.

In addition to the substantial prize money, ESB and Qatar Esports Federation have enlisted SPORTFIVE, a renowned marketing agency, to handle the league’s audiovisual rights.
Furthermore, Qatar’s own Quest Esports has been named the regional partner for the Middle East and North Africa. These partnerships signify a strategic approach to globalizing the league and enhancing its reach.
Key Events and Dates
The inaugural event is set to take place on April 3 in Doha, Qatar. This event marks the beginning of a series that will see 10 teams competing across various tournaments. Subsequent editions are scheduled for July in Lima, Peru, and November back in Doha, Qatar.
In addition to these flagship events, the organizers plan to create an open circuit and tournaments for amateur players, fostering a comprehensive ecosystem for Dota 2 enthusiasts.
