Epic Games confirms collaboration between Fortnite and Jujutsu Kaisen

Yesterday, August 1, Epic Games published a trailer on its Twitter account to confirm the arrival of the new crossover to the game. Officially, all Jujutsu Kaisen fans will be able to enjoy their favorite characters within the Fortnite universe.

This new Epic Games collaboration is with Jujutsu Kaisen. We are talking about one of the anime with great success, which is based on the manga that bears the same name.

But the developers of Fortnite have not only confirmed the arrival of Jujutsu Kaisen to the game, they have also informed when the crossover will be released. According to the information released by Epic Games, Jujutsu Kaisen is coming to the game in update v25.30. This update will be released on August 8, when the Futurama event ends.

Details of the collaboration between Fortnite with Jujutsu Kaisen

According to the information in the trailer, all four Jujutsu Kaisen protagonists are coming to the game. Megumi Fushiguro, Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, and master Satoru Gojo arrive in the Fortnite universe through a wall.

However, Epic Games has been cautious with information about this crossover. At the moment, you only know the release date and that the four protagonists of the anime will be present in the game. However, all four protagonists presumably have skins, cosmetics, and extra weapons.

It is important to note that this is not the first time Fortnite has made forays into the world of anime. Fortnite has also interacted with popular series such as:

  • Attack on Titan
  • Dragon Ball
  • My Hero Academia
  • Naruto

However, this is the first time Jujutsu Kaisen is coming to the game universe. The crossover comes at an ideal time, as the anime has grown in popularity and is currently airing its Season 2.

If previous Fortnite crossovers are anything to go by, the skins can be priced between 1,800 and 2,400 V-Bucks. In addition, the skins must include accessories related to each character. For example, Megumi Fushiguro may have her Divine Dogs, while Nobara Kugisaki will likely have her hammer and nails hanging on her clothes.

In addition, players may get each character’s powers from vending machines, similar to Fortnite’s collaboration with Deku Smash.
