EA SPORTS FC Pro, the flagship esports program for the widely popular football game EA SPORTS FC 24, has made a groundbreaking impact in its debut season. Electronic Arts has announced record-breaking viewership figures as the FC Pro Open gears up for its grand finals in London this weekend.

Unprecedented Viewership Statistics

The FC Pro Open has set a new benchmark in EA’s esports tournaments. With an average minute audience (AMA) exceeding 165K and a staggering total of over 6 million hours viewed, the tournament, including the Global Qualifier, has become the most popular football esports event in EA’s history.

Compared to last year’s EA SPORTS Cup, the audience for FC Pro Open has more than doubled. In just six weeks of competition, it has amassed over 17.5 million views across 109 live channels, including official broadcasts and co-streams.

After eight weeks of fierce competition, the climax of the FC Pro Open is set for Saturday (February 3rd) in London. Eight top-ranked players will battle it out for a share of the $500,000 prize pool and a spot in this summer’s FC Pro World Championship. The finalists include prominent players like Emre Yilmaz, Umut, PHzin, Young, Vejrgang, AbuMakka, Levi De Weerd, and Obrun.
