All Modern Warfare 2 lovers will be able to enjoy season 4 in a few days, which comes loaded with new content. According to the Call of Duty developers, this new game update contains the season’s largest content; new maps, agents, and weapons are coming.

The new season, which will be released next week, specifically on June 14, includes the new Warzone map Vondel. But that’s not all; it includes seven additional maps for various game modes and four new firearms.

The most striking novelty of the maps is incorporating a classic confrontation map of Call of Duty 4 from 2007. This map will be in Al Mazrah as a section of Ahkdar Village on the battle royale map. Many sight lines and stairs run along the edges of the famous central area with the statue.
Another major map coming with the new game update is the 6v6 Kunstenaar District, modeled after a Vondel location, the new Resurgence map available in Warzone. Activision describes the European-inspired setting as “a succession of townhouses, fashionable stores, a navigable canal and of course a central square.”
On the other hand, the additional maps coming in Season 4 are for other MW2 game modes. For example, Gunfight uses Penthouse, Marketplace, and Ground War uses Ahkdar Village and Mawizeh Marshlands. While Vondel Waterfront, a new six-on-six main map, will be available mid-season.

Weapons in the new season of Modern Warfare 2
A new battlefield is useless without a new weapon to level up with. The Tonfa melee weapon, the SMG ISO 45, the Tempus Razorback assault rifle, and a shotgun are among the new weapons coming in Season 4.
The Tonfa, the SMG ISO 45, and the Tempus Razorback assault rifle can be unlocked in the season 4 battle pass, while the Tonfa melee weapon will be obtained in a seasonal event dubbed Assault on Vondel. This event will feature the season’s new operator, Nikto, who returns to the Modern Warfare 2019 game. Now, the new season includes a total of five new operators.
As we already mentioned, Season 4 brings a huge amount of content. The developers have also included a new season of ranked play available in Warzone 2 and MW2. In addition, new prizes can be obtained, and a new Raid episode will arrive in the middle of the season. Without a doubt, MW2 players will have a wealth of material to enjoy during Season 4.
