At this point, Counter-Strike fans are convinced that the release of CS2 is closer than many can imagine. Thanks to the combined list of CS:GO maps, many players think that they will finally be able to enjoy CS2 soon.
CS2 release imminent
Undoubtedly, many Counter-Strike fans have for some time envied all those lucky players who were chosen to participate in the CS2 beta. However, if you are not one of the lucky ones, we have good news for you. A large part of the gaming community believes that the release of CS2 is imminent. So we will all be able to start playing the new Valve title in a very short time.
Yesterday, August 17, CS2 developers compiled a casual playlist with the remastered CS:GO maps. Previously, in the beta, you could only play some maps. Instead, now all maps are available. Undoubtedly, a change that the entire community has quickly noticed.
Thanks to this update, many players speculate that Valve’s decision to compile all the maps into a single list only indicates one thing, that the developers are preparing for the full release of CS2. It is important to note that these are only speculations. So far, the developers have not revealed any details. However, the excitement and anticipation for this new title continue growing.
Today we're adding all maps shipped thus far in CS2 into one Casual playlist. This and more in today's Release Notes: https://t.co/wBLPW5vSqE

CS2 Leakers hint at the game’s arrival
On the other hand, CS2 leakers have also caused rumors and speculation about the game’s early arrival to grow. Recently, leaker Gabe Follower, who was one of the first to reveal the news of CS2’s arrival, even long before the developers made the official presentation, left a message that “the main course” would arrive very soon.
Sounds like an appetizer before the main course. https://t.co/SCdUzzjWhg

Let’s remember that Valve announced that the game would be released during the summer. With all this in mind and only a few weeks left before the summer ends, it seems like the ideal time for CS2 developers to release the full game.
CS2 beta update
As we mentioned, in the latest CS2 update, a list of maps has been created where Italy has been added. This map joins those previously released, such as Mirage, Dust 2, Nuke, and Overpass. In addition, the developers are expected to include other features to keep the interest of all players. But that’s not all. It’s important to mention that, since yesterday’s update, all maps and all modes of CS2 can be played offline.
While this may be the biggest change released in the latest update for players, gameplay tweaks have also been included. Among those tweaks are improved bullet penetration and the tendency of explosives to sink in water has been removed. In addition, there is now the possibility of acquiring bots.
