After endless rumors and speculation about the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, the game’s developers have finally confirmed that they will release a new franchise installment.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Launching
We have good news for all fans of the CoD franchise games. Officially, Activision has informed us that it will release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. On the Call of Duty Twitter account, they have confirmed the launch rumors. But that’s not all. In addition, they have informed the date on which the game will be released. MW III will be released on November 10 this year.

On the other hand, the Sledgehammer Games account shared the same information about Modern Warfare III, indicating that the company is in charge of this new project. Something that was an open secret, and many people saw it coming after the Twitter header with a logo similar to that of Call of Duty: MW III.
However, despite knowing these details, the developers have not revealed much more. So far, they have not confirmed the platforms on which the game will be available and much less the content included in the new title of the franchise.
On the other hand, the game’s developers have clarified that it will not be a remake of its 2011 namesake. Instead, it will be a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, released in 2022.
MW III release rumors were true
For many days, many people were rumoring about the arrival of this new game. Recall that Activision left some clues along the way, such as the game in Monster Energy Drink. On the other hand, they also made a joke in the official Call of Duty press release about the same leak, which suggested that there would be news soon. So it seemed inevitable that the MWIII rumors were true.

For his part, Tom Henderson, a well-known journalist who writes for Insider Gaming, was the one who correctly predicted the MW II release date. This journalist said that November 10, 2023, would be the release date of the new title. In addition, the journalist commented that the game would be available for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox X/S Series.
Since he got the release date right, it is now very important to pay attention to the other dates he provided:
- Beta Weekend 1 (PS4 and PS5): October 6 to 10
- Beta Weekend 2 (Xbox, PS4, PS5, and PC): October 12 to 16.
- Early access to the campaign (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S and PC): November 2.
- Full game release (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S and PC): November 10.
It is important to note that all these dates are about speculation. That is why they may be slightly different from those handled by Activision.
