Infinity is out of the playoffs in the 2024 LLA Apertura tournament after losing to All Knights 2-0 on Thursday’s matchday, while Estral Esports maintains their unbeaten record at the end of the seventh week of the regular phase by defeating Isurus.

Infinity’s Disappointing Outcome

Infinity started Thursday’s matchday with slim chances of advancing to the next stage of the LLA Apertura tournament after losing to Six Karma in the previous matchday.

The Infinity squad needed a win against All Knights to keep their hopes of reaching the playoffs alive and avoid being the only team eliminated this split. However, the Knights dashed their hopes with excellent gameplay in both games of the series.

Series Highlights

  • First Game: Despite a strong start from Infinity, controlling the early game and punishing the bottom lane for the first objectives, they couldn’t maintain the lead past the 20-minute mark. All Knights began to regain ground with strong team fights, particularly a crucial five-versus-five near Baron, allowing them to turn the game around and secure victory.

  • Second Game: A more dynamic start with both teams fighting in the bottom lane. However, All Knights secured an advantage with excellent rotations, securing early objectives. Playing as a cohesive unit, the Knights increased their gold lead, with Infinity unable to stop Trigo’s Kai’Sa. With Baron Nashor under their control, the Chilean squad bid farewell to their opponents in just 24 minutes.
