Overwatch 2 users are still slightly astonished by a problem that is almost six months old and hasn’t been resolved. Due to this bug, the game is not significantly affected; however, it is a bug that has lasted for a long time.

A bug in Overwatch 2

Blizzard has been known for its long response times in bug fixes; as a result, Overwatch 2 players have been suffering for several months due to a bug in the game. In addition, since January of this year, the career profile menu of many players has been incorrect in the game.

It is important to note that the interface that Overwatch 2 players usually use to evaluate the experience of other players in using some heroes is no longer reliable. The game bug causes the statistics displayed to be incorrect.

Due to this error for many months, many affected players have expressed frustration on social networks.

Now, as this kind of bug does not affect the gameplay, it is probably not a priority for the developers; fans have noticed it and feel disappointed about it.

Players complain about the bug in Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 players voiced their opinion and complaints in a Reddit thread yesterday. Users have talked about some unreasonable statistics and unreachable metrics.

For example, one user has commented his brother apparently does 120,000 damage to Torbjorn every 10 minutes.

At the same time, another user comments that in season 4, he averaged 4,000 kills per 10 minutes as McCassidy. He then states that he didn’t even play him in that season.

On the other hand, someone has commented that Ana is his most-played hero; however, his stats show that it is Orisa.

Some users have already contacted the game developers to report this bug; however, they have not received a response, and the bug is still present.

One user commented that he contacted the game’s support team by sending screenshots and expressing every error in his statistics. On the other hand, this same user comments that by reading other people’s problems, he realizes that this is not a bug that only a few people are experiencing.

On the other hand, some users have made assumptions about why the statistics may be wrong. For example, some suggest that it may be that there may not be enough storage or the game developers have mixed up user accounts. At the same time, other users on Reddit believe that the developers are too busy solving a gameplay issue and have failed to resolve this minor bug.

However, users hope that Overwatch developers will take notice of this bug and can fix it soon.
